Tyler Shane Gardiner passed away may 12th 2006. he fought (ALL)Leukemia for three and a half years . He had just freshly turned eight and two weeks later came down with a high fever . It would not break. That is when the nightmare began. November 16th 2002. He went out of remission on FEB 28TH 2005 . He got a bone marrow transplant July 13th 2005. It did not graft. He grew his own DNA back.He went back out of remission again Dec .26th 2005 .The Doctors gave him low does of chem and gleevic chemo pills to slow down the leukemia.
He passed away on hospise care at his family home with all of us , his family and teacher and friends beside him.H e was eleven years old. his mommy is Susan. She is my daughter . His daddy is Dennis and he has two older brothers Justin whom is eighteen and nick who is fifteen. Tyler loved football. We are known in Massillon Ohio for our Massillon Tiger football team. Tyler dreamed of playing for them. The players and coaches all loved Tyler. They brought him out on the sidelines and they gave him jerserys and hats with their numbers and they gave him signed footballs . They were Honored to take a part in his funeral.Tyler touched alot of peoples lives . He meant the world to me . To me he was the world. With out him our lives have an empty hole in them. His mom and dad and brothers and me his grandma and grannpa and close friends and family miss him so very much. He had a Massillon Tiger funeral. he has a Massillon obie the tiger on his headstone and he ask for us to have #1 TIGER FAN wrote on it . It turned out beautiful.

God bless you Tyler you were a litle fighter. Your sad story is very similar to ours. We lost our little Grandson to Leukaemia in March this year He was diagnosed at 13 months of age He went through a few courses of chemo always relapsing at the end he had radiotherapy and also a bone marrow transplant which took 100% but the Leukaemia came back and we were told they could do no more we couldn't believe it as he seemed so well but he died aged 9. This is such a cruel disease. I really feel for you.
